[Q] Why is the monitor image
so dark?
[A] It
probably just needs an adjustment. Set
the monitor adjustment knobs to midrange, then verify
that the switch on the back of the monitor is set to
HI Z and not 75u. Set the c-arm to the Auto Exposure
Mode.
[Q] How do I improve
the image resolution?
[A] Check
the Frame Averaging and Edge Enhancement values. Frame
Averaging should be set to a minimum of 4 and the Edge
Enhancement should be at least 3.
[Q] The image looks
fuzzy and unclear. How do I fix it?
[A] Patient
movement during live fluoro will cause blurring. Lower
the Frame Average value to improve the image.
[Q] The c-arm display
reads "Call Service" when I turn the key switch
on. What do I do now?
[A] This
will occur if the footswitch is depressed as the c-arm
is switched on. Check your operation. Otherwise, (1)
remove the footswitch and turn on the AC power. If
the system initializes, replace the footswitch, or (2)
If the the error still occurs, depress both the "+"
and "--" together. Read the Error Code
on the c-arm display and report it to C-thru Imaging
LLC Service.

[Q] What do I do about
the c-arm beep
error when I try to take an exposure?
[A] The
system is timing out. (1)
Surgical Expert: Recycle the c-arm power, then
press the ESC key on the keypad 5 times. The system
should re-initialize. (2) Dual Monitor System: Verify
that the system is in the Fluoro Mode and not the Administration
Mode. Press F4 to toggle between them. If
the problem still exists, call Service at 800-504-4509,
